My sister came to visit for the weekend and we went to Created By Us Pottery in Fairport, New York. It was a great time! We each chose a piece of pottery. I chose an owl candleholder and she selected a cute birdhouse. Next, we painted the pottery. Finally, the pottery goes into the kiln and we'll pick them up in a week or so. I am SO excited! The colors will be glazed and brighter after going into the kiln and I'm looking forward to picking up our pieces.
This is a fabulous idea for a different weekend activity for friends! I highly recommend it!

That owl is super cute! We used to have two pottery places locally that both shut down. I always enjoyed going in and creating a new masterpiece.

Adorable owl!! You will have to post pictures after you pick them up! I don't think there are any places around me that you can do this... bummer! Looks like fun!
