Monday Made It

Today I'll be linking up with Tara at Fourth Grade Frolics. It's time for a Monday Made It!

See those two pink tables with the white tops?
This is a Made It I did years ago, but they are still lasting and I still looooove them!!!!!

So, what's special about those tables?

WHITEBOARD PAINT!!!

I painted the tops of those tables and a few others in my classroom with whiteboard paint. Kiddos use Expo markers and write on them during Daily Five and Math Centers. It's great! The fourth graders love using Expo markers, think it's cool that they can write on tables, and it saves paper.

  1. I have heard of Chalkboard paint, but I have never seen Whiteboard paint. I will definitely need to check that out! Awesome!

    1. Yea...I like it better than chalkboard paint - less dusty! I found it at the hardware store!

  2. I've never heard of whiteboard paint either!!! I just recently attended a furniture fair for my school district and many of the tables had whiteboard tops and they were my favorite! I need to do this ASAP!

    1. I had seen tables with whiteboard tops, but knew my school wouldn't buy them for me. I found whiteboard paint at the hardware store and made them myself! I used mini tables, like end tables, from Target. They're smaller, so I can have whiteboard tables all around the room!
