Five for Friday

I'm linking up with Doodle Bugs Teaching this week for Five For Friday!

My impossible task is getting my brand new classroom ready by Monday morning, when I start teaching summer school. I can do it! Well, I have to.

I am loving my new bulletin boards!

I downloaded the app "Pic Collage" and I've been having a lot of fun playing around with it!

I figured, to celebrate summer vacation, I'd do a storewide TpT sale. So, click here to check out my store and enjoy the savings! If you're anything like me, you've already started planning new and fun ideas for next year!

Lucy and I have been enjoying the beautiful weather and extra time I have during the summer by going on tons of walks! This is Lucy plopping down and taking a break on one of those walks.

Makes you think a bit, right? I like it.

Monday Made It

Today I'll be linking up with Tara at Fourth Grade Frolics. It's time for a Monday Made It!

I'm in the process of switching classrooms and grade levels! Here are the pictures of my work in progress!

Welcome to my new (smaller) classroom!

This is the math center area!

I have Mountain Math hanging on the file cabinet, and I will use the other side for lunch count when kiddos walk in.

SmartBoard and pillows!

These are the basics...I'll upload more pictures when I add the pizzazz!

Book boxes!

My meeting area. I'll put foam cushions on the seats soon.

I spray painted the bins yellow, and found the black ones at Big Lots.

The computers are behind the math centers.

I'm thinking about buying more storage ottomans for the guided reading table. They were from Big Lots, too!

More pictures with actual books on the shelves to come!

Um, gorgeous, right? I'm so proud of myself!

Lots of bulletin board space!

Aaaaaaand, I made a mess. I'll pull down those wood doors and hide my mess soon!

Five for Friday

I'm linking up with Doodle Bugs Teaching this week for Five For Friday!

I was in school this week for a training on TCIS (Therapeutic Crisis Intervention for Schools). It was a lot of role playing scenarios and learning how to best address students in crisis. The workshop itself was great...but the fact that there was a heat warning for two of the three days and we were stuck in a windowless room for seven hours a day...well, that part kinda blew.

Yesterday was my very first official day of vacation! I have a week and a half before summer school starts. So, yesterday my handyman installed my over the range microwave. It looks oh so pretty!

Unfortunately, my handyman ripped up some of the linoleum while moving the stove. I worked my gorilla glue magic last night and it looks a gajillion times better! RELIEF!

The carpet in my new classroom has been shampooed...but I still need to wait until Sunday to start setting up shop.

I. Can't. Wait.

I figured, to celebrate summer vacation, I'd do a storewide TpT sale. So, click here to check out my store and enjoy the savings! If you're anything like me, you've already started planning new and fun ideas for next year!

Lucy is excited for our road trip to Long Island next week!
